Jake dressed up as a pea-in-the-pod for his first halloween. Fortunately we had a backup pumpkin costume because Jake has recently discovered he has feet and loves to play with them and put them in his mouth. The pea pod costume didn't allow much in the way of moving his feet, so he only lasted in it for about fifteen minutes. We were planning on going trick-or-treating with Amy and her family around the neighborhood, but they ended up inviting us along to a halloween party before trick-or-treating started. Jake was too tired to go trick-or-treating, but I think he had a fun time at the party getting to see all the other kids dressed up. And since he can't eat candy yet anyway, it probably worked out for the best.
The other pictures are of Jake and me at a pumpkin patch in Flower Mound. Unfortunately, the day we went was really rainy and muddy, but we still had fun!
