Jake's Four Month Update

At his four month doctor appointment, Jake weighed 14 lbs 4 oz and was 26 1/2 in long. He was in the 93% for height and the 45% for weight. The doctor also decided it would be beneficial for him to go on medication for his acid reflux. So far it has seemed to help with the screaming and fussiness, but he actually is spitting up more. According to the information we received at the doctor, most babies outgrow reflux by seven months, so hopefully this will be the case with Jake.

A major accomplishment this month was getting Jake to sleep in his crib instead of the car seat or in my arms. Yay! He is doing great and giving us lots more smiles and facial expressions. He is also a lot more vocal and seems to try to communicate with us.
